Tyre Recycle

Examples of use for recycled products:

  • tiles and tile adhesives
  • mixing with asphalt
  • sports surfaces
  • carpet underlay
  • noise and vibration insulation
  • playgrounds
  • matting and alternative fuels

Rubber crumb is used in new tyres, devulcanisation for low-tech pressed or extruded rubber products, commercial flooring, traffic control products and plenty more.

Recycled rubber crumb is valued at about one-third the price of virgin rubber so where it is interchangeable it has obvious demand.

Recycling

We specialise in the collection of end of life, waste tyre casings. We also provide batteries and metal collections.

We will collect from your premises at times to suit you in or out of working hours. Our staff presentation and training is second to none. We primarily work with main dealers and blue chip companies in the UK. We will not be beaten on price.

More and more large volume uses of tyres are emerging for end products made from the rubber, steel and textile derived from recycling tyres. Mass market end products like continuous rolls of cost effective recycled rubber used for noise insulation now complete the 'big picture' for recycling of tyres. This quality material in crumb form is capable of performing numerous tasks once applied to a variety of end products.

The new product lines for tyres and more traditional uses for batteries and metal allows us to provide a true 'cradle to grave' solution for all our customers.

Recycling is a challenge for the UK as we are presently not recycling enough of our waste as compared to other countries. The benefits of recycling are enormous and it is possible to recycle over 85% of all our waste.

Recycling saves energy by reusing the materials possible to recycle. It is not just good for the environment, it is also good for us. Producing things from recycled materials spends far less energy than from raw materials and hence it has an effect on the economy, the environment and the population at the same time. At Tyre Circle we support the reduction, reuse and recycling of the materials we collect and we follow standard procedures to keep our services environmentally friendly.

Our Commitment

We pledge to uphold our customer’s requirements and satisfaction to the highest degree whilst continually offering the most competitive prices in the market. If you find a better written quote we will better it.

In line with our commitment to the environment, our efficient waste disposal services aim to recycle and reuse waste wherever possible. This in turn helps reduce the amount of general waste going to landfill sites therefore reducing greenhouse gas and the carbon footprint.

Recycling Market

Recently there has been a resurgence of interest in this area due to the Landfill Diversion Targets of the EU Landfill Directive and the enhanced interest in residual waste treatment technologies such as Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT), which may be configured to produce Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) or Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF). The benefits of alternative fuels also includes reduction in landfill requirements proven high quality product, lower Co2 emissions and reduced reliance on fossil fuels.

Our current market is cement manufacturers and Waste to Energy (W2E) power plants. However, we also have the ability to support smaller companies currently using fossil fuels as part of their manufacturing\processing requirements.
